Born in London, Cameron was raised on the Caribbean Island of Dominica. Cameron has toured world-wide with Courtney Pine in both his Reggae and Jazz outfits, working with many high profile musicians, including Bheki Mseleku, and pianist Julian Joseph. Pierre has worked with a host of well known artists, from Larry Adler to Juliet Roberts and Jazz Jamaica and Martha Reeves. He can often be seen and heard on the live circuit performing his own compositions with the excellent Cameron Pierre Band, "...a no nonsense six-piece band blending contemporary jazz with hot Caribbean rhythms"
